“Tee Rex” Appears In Cowra

While most of us are confined to our homes during lock down, it seems that a certain mysterious character has emerged in Cowra. If you have popped down town in the past week for essential purposes you may have spotted a particularly large figure with substantially short arms. Depending on the direction you are traveling you may just spot a tail.

The local t-rex (aka Tee Rex) has been spotted making its trek downtown for a spot of food shopping throughout the past week. The colorful red hue and it’s rather large head catches the eye of passers by and has given the community something to smile about during a difficult time. Tee Rex has become the talk of the town and has cast some light into our pandemic blues. This very busy dinosaur visited Optimal Pharmacy for the vaccine, stopped into Kats & Dogs for some snacks and devoured a caramel doughnut from Cowra Hot Bake.

Showing love to the local businesses in Cowra during lock down seems to be high on Tee Rex’s list and the community are beyond thrilled about it. Beneath the suit is a generous local who aims to lighten the mood and make people smile. “It is fantastic seeing other people getting involved and having a laugh. If we can all try and make someone smile for the day, we’ll get through this lockdown together.”

But it appears that Tee Rex is no longer riding, or shuffling, solo with the addition of Baby Rex to the family. The adorable little blue dinosaur has been warming the hearts of locals and giving people something new and exciting to keep an eye out for. It is reported that Baby Rex has been thoroughly spoiled with a complimentary milkshake courtesy of a local business. With regular updates on Cowra’s social media pages, you can be sure to spot a picture of her whereabouts or you can follow Tee Rex on Facebook and keep up with their lockdown adventures. Where Tee Rex and Baby Rex will pop up next nobody knows, but that is all part of the mysterious fun.
