Applications Open For Crown Reserves Grants

Crown land managers and community groups that use Crown land across the Cootamundra electorate now have the chance to share in $17 million in grants from the latest round of the Crown Reserves Improvement Fund.

Summary of Decisions, Cowra Shire

Council May Council noted the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal Report on Mayor and Councillor Fees from the Director – Corporate Services and adopted the maximum Mayoral and Councillor fees determined by the Local Government Remuneration Tribunal effective from 1 July 2021.

Council noted the Draft Mapping relating to Cowra Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2012 (Amendment No.7). Council will make the appropriate arrangements for the notification of Cowra LEP.

Council donated $1250 to Cowra Tourism Corporation towards the cost of the purchase of a defibrillator for the Cowra Visitors Centre. Council noted the Investments and Financial Report for April 2021.

The Adult Survivors of Child Abuse - Cowra Support Group meets on the 1st Friday of each month at 12:30. During COVID, meeting restrictions apply: your full name and contact details will need to be known to the facilitator who will ONLY provide them to the appropriate authority in case traceability from a COVID-19 case is required. We hence keep our confidentiality standard unless the health of the community is at stake.
