It was a tough, wet and cold game day on Saturday as both Bathurst Panthers and St Pats took on Cowra at River Park.
Cowras Under 12’s took Panthers down with the scoreboard finishing at 10-0. The Under 13;s let their defence slip after putting up a hard fight against Bathurst losing at 26-18. Under 14’s faced St Pats and knocked it out of the park with a triumphant win of 48-4. With teams battling it out on home turf, CJRL’s League tag girls traveled to Wallerawang where all three teams flexed their skill to take home the win. Under 11’s won at an astonishing 46-30, Under 13’s narrowly took out first place at 26-24 and opens dominated the game at 36-6 against Blayney.
League Tag Coach Janine was thrilled with the open’s team’s efforts. “The girls played really well, focused and worked together.”
