WEIR TRUST SCHOLARSHIPS

The trustee of the WB & ME Weir Trust invite applications for scholarships available to students entering into their second year of full-time tertiary education.

• Applicant’s principal residence must have been within the Cowra District. Applicants whose main residence was in Cowra but completed secondary education away are eligible.
• Applicants must not be a recipient of any significant financial support from a government department, corporation, institution or community group.
• Support will be subject to annual review. Scholarships are for a maximum of three years.
• Scholarships may be to a maximum of ten thousand dollars pa ($10,000). The scholarships are to aid Cowra students to continue their studies.
• The trustees will assess and award scholarships following interviews on 27th January, 2024 and will not consider any challenge to their decision.
