IN a huge positive for Cowra during these tough times, the Cowra Civic Centre, thanks to an investment from the federal government, have upgraded their cinema equipment and can now show first-release films. It is a massive win for residents who have long been campaigning for the same access as other towns within the region.
No longer do the residents of Cowra have to travel to other regional centres to access the movies.
“We will officially reopen with multiple sessions from Friday 22 January. We are currently finalising titles with some already announced on the website,” a statement on the Civic Centre Facebook page read.
