The Cowra Men’s Shed made a generous donation last Tuesday, handing over 13 art easels they made to The Corridor Project art organisation.

The easels are large, measuring 1800mm high, and will be available for any budding artist in the region, in need of an easel, to borrow. Materials used for the construction of the easels were funded by Cowra Shire Council under its recent community grants program.

The easels were built by Men’s Shed members Robert Solling, Peter Boler and Brian Marr. The Corridor Project Creative Producer Phoebe Cowdery thanked the Men’s Shed for their efforts.

“We would like to thank the Cowra Mens Shed for the design/build of thirteen easels for use by participants and to Cowra Council who provided fund-ing through the community grants program,” she said.

“During 2022, TCP will be supporting over ninety visual and performance artists through residency and public programmed exhibitions, work-shops, talks and presentations.”

If you are a resident of Cowra and want to get involved and know more about the TCP 2022 public program or would like to borrow an easel, contact TCP via its website, www.thecorridorproject.org.

TCP is a not-for-profit arts organisation located near Wyangala Village.
