All NDIS participants in Cowra are being invited to a special lunch at the Cowra Bowling Club on Thursday 28th July, with the purpose of socialising with one another.
The lunch is being organised by local NDIS service providers Jane’s Support, Embracing Abilities, Cowra Information & Neighbourhood Centre, Enablement, Support Me and Ability Network.
The aim is to bring together participants from all local service providers to socialise with each other, including clients, their families and their friends. Jane Nobes, who runs Jane’s Support, said the lunch was a great opportunity for local NDIS participants to socialise and network.
“They normally only get to interact with other participants within the same service provider, but not those with other service providers, so this lunch is all about bringing them back together,” she said.
“I’d encourage all to attend and catch up with their fellow clients, their families and friends.”
Jane said she planned for the event to become a permanent annual fixture, and hoped to get a good turnout.
