Legacy Week this year runs from Sunday 31st August to Saturday 6th September, 2025 with Legacy Badge Day being held on Friday 5th September. This iconic Australian fundraising campaign began in 1942.
Our annual appeal raises awareness and funds which enables us to provide much needed assistance to the dependents of our incapacitated and deceased Veterans in Cowra. With the increasing age of our widows, their needs are greater than ever before.
The Legacy Centenary Torch relay in 2023 reinforced the promise that was made 102 years ago to look after the veterans families. This need is still relevant today.
We trust that you will be able to support our work by forwarding a tax deductible donation to our bank. Alternatively, you can contact us on 0458 878 229 and we can collect a donation from you. We will have our usual “Badge Stall” in Kendal Street on Friday morning 5th September, so feel free to come and say hi and leave a donation with us if you prefer. We will also be at Bunnings on Saturday 30th August, Aldi on Wednesday 3rd September, and Woolworths on Thursday 4th September.
