Heritage Advisor EOI’s Open

Cowra Council is seeking EOI’s for a Heritage Advisor service in the Cowra region for the next two years, funded by a NW Government heritage grant program. Council encourages suitably qualified planning and/or heritage professionals to come forward to provide this important service.

The primary objectives of the Cowra Council Heritage Advisor role include:

  • Advising Council and the community on local and state heritage matters

  • Assisting strategic planners with the development and interpretation of local heritage policies

  • Providing expert heritage advice on Development Applications relating to heritage items

  • Delivering a flexible, demand driven service tailored to Council and community needs

Interested proponents are asked to submit a return brief including:

  • An itemised fee proposal for the required services, including (but not limited to) DA heritage reports, Heritage Inventory reports, LEP amendment advice, and customer inquiries

  • Confirmation of your ability to meet program requirements

  • Evidence of current professional indemnity and public liability insurance coverage
