The Festival of Small Halls is set to visit Woodstock, with the music tour set to entertain the village at the Woodstock Memorial Hall on Thursday April 15.

Presented by Woodfordia Inc, the twenty-first edition of the not-for-profit music tour is visiting twenty community halls across New South Wales.

The programme will feature folk style music, as well as Polynesian island vibes and the indie pop-rock.

Producer Eleanor Rigden said she was inspired and impressed by the way the community halls featured in the festival has been able to adopt to COVID-safe conditions, and not shy away from the extra hoops they have had to jump through. “Towards the end of 2020 when we got back on the road, hall committees and local groups really stepped up, realising it was more important than ever to support their communities to safely come together after a year of difficulty and isolation”, said Ms Rigden.

The tour will run for four weeks, and visit Yetman, Frederickton, Currabubula, Dorrigo, Tuncurry, Portland, Woodstock, Goulburn, Dalgety, Gilmore, Savernake, Morundah, Ganmain, Pyree, Orange, Nymagee, Marthaguy, Burren Junction, Mullaley and Coramba.

The festival runs from Wednesday 7th of April to Sunday 2nd May 2021. For more information please visit www.festivalofsmallhalls.com.
