Local land Service’s Farm Benchmarking Project is now in full swing, with the first introductory webinar successfully held in late April. The application deadline has been extended to June 30, providing more producers with the chance to take part in this subsidised program.

The program, led by industry experts Agrista, is designed to provide farm businesses with valuable economic benchmarking insights.

Participants are currently engaging in oneon-one sessions with Agrista consultants to begin the data entry process.

Producers from across the region have embraced the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of their business performance.

For many, the appeal lies in the ability to identify both strengths and areas for improvement by comparing their operations with similar enterprises.

This data-driven approach is helping participants move beyond assumptions and anecdotal comparisons, offering a more accurate picture of business viability and profitability.

Producers such as Shayne Halfpenny at Mt Tenandra and Jamie and Alisha Wright at Grenfell have highlighted the value of working with Agrista and agricultural consultant John Francis.

They see the project not only as a cost-effective investment but also as a chance to access expert insights and tailored production training through our project.

Importantly, there is still time for interested producers to join. With flexible options including video recordings and personalised consultations, the project is designed to support participants at every step of the benchmarking journey.

The application deadline has been extended to June 30, providing more producers the chance to take part in this subsidised program.

Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate with Agrista and our ag advisory team to enhance your farm business performance.
