D&E Electrical owner David Grant has been drawn as the April winner of the Tradie of the Month competition, proudly brought to you by French’s Store, Cowra. The competition recognises the great work of tradies in Cowra and Canowindra, with the winners being drawn at random from nominations from the public. Winners receive a voucher to spend at French’s Store.

Mr Grant, who has been an electrician in Canowindra since the age of 16, is the inaugural winner of the competition.

Having owned and operated D&E Electrical for 32 years, he said his favourite aspect of being a sparky was the wide variety of jobs he gets to do.

“It’s a different job each day, and you get to meet everyone,” he said.

“I haven’t had a single day of no work in the last 32 years.”

David won himself a voucher, courtesy of French’s Store, which he said he will put towards a new pair of boots or work clothing.
