Our first competition back on the courts with minimal to no COVID restrictions brought many highlights. Grand finals were played last week against the teams Daiquiri and Margarita.

Lisa Nelson (Daiquiri) took the first win for the night against Maryann Uren (sub for Lola Eaton, Margarita).

Imogen Park (Daiquiri) played an exceptional game but unfortunately lost to Kylie Lanham (sub for Jill Dunk).

Bianca Lyons (Margarita) and Don Garling (Daiquiri) fought it out hard but Bi-anca took the win.

Nicky Savage (Margarita) and Chris Day (Daiquiri) went head to head again with Chris bringing in the second win for the night for team Daiquiri.

Shayne Beard (sub for Hugh Bryant, Daiquiri) played a hard and fast game against young upcoming and coming Alex McFarland (Margarita). Alex brought in another win for team Margarita.

Sammy Austin (Margarita) played a non-stop game against Bruce Rowston (sub for Glen Falconer, Daiquiri). Team Margarita scored another win with Sammy winning his match.

Josh Bell (Daiquiri) played well against Mitch Beer (Margarita) but Mitch was just too quick and took the final win for Margarita.

After a competitive night Margarita won the Grand Final for the 2022 Summer Competition.

Thank you to Cowra Services Club for allowing us to stream the games into the Auditorium for more spectators to enjoy the matches. Thank you to Jack Baker for lending the technology to allow this. The Autumn/Winter competition will be starting shortly. Please contact us on Facebook or put your name down on the nominations list at the squash courts to play. New, returning and current players are welcome.
