Cowra Park Run had their final meet for the year last weekend. Eighteen people took the timed 5km course making their way around in a run, jog or walk with one recording a personal best.
“Everyone went really well in the heat" a representative from the Cowra Park Run said. “It was a great turn out after such a break.”
Some festive cheer was in the air with Santa hats and Christmas shirts making an appearance on the track, bringing some Christmas spirit to the course despite the piping hot temperature.
The park run will take a break for two weeks over Christmas and start up with runners hitting the course again on January 8th.
