The Club Cowra Magpies have progressed to the 2023 Grand Final with a comprehensive win against traditional rivals Blayney Bears in Mudgee on the weekend.
The Magpies struck early and maintained an outstanding level of footy for most of the game. Blayney had a late surge, but it was all too late with the Magpies giving early marks to a few bumped and bruised players. A few niggling injuries out of the game but all players are expected to recover before the big show next week. Coach Ingram was very happy with the performance and said that every player in the squad got game time and gave positive contributions. We would love to see the town go Black and White this week in the lead up Let’s Go Cowra. SWOOP MAGPIES!!!
Club Cowra will be the host of a pre–Grand Final get together to wish the Cowra Magpies all the best in this weekends Grand Final. A Grand Final jersey presentation and team announcement will take place as we put our support behind the men in Black and White. Wear Black and white to show your support!
