Cowra Dance Factory proved to be the perfect fit for energetic 6-year-old Amy Finlayson who has transformed during her time at ACRO. With only two terms of classes under her belt, Amy’s confidence has grown as wide as her larger-than-life smile, and it’s clear that she loves every second of it.

Why did you want to do ACRO?
“Because it sounded like fun!”

What’s the best thing about it?
“I have made lots of friends, but my best friend Tilly does ACRO now and that’s my favourite part, and my teacher Miss Liss is really nice.”

What do you like doing the most in your classes?
“I love doing cartwheels, handstands and the splits but I want to learn how to do headstands and back-walkovers.”

If you could pick one thing to learn how to do, what would it be?
“Tap dance! I really want to learn how to tap dance.”

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
“Flying! I would love to fly up in the air because I could get to places quicker. If I could fly, then I could see the whole wide world.”

What would tell your school mates if they were too nervous to give ACRO a try?
“Come on, just do it!”
