The prestigious Ready Set Dance Awards have been announced, and Cowra Dance Factory has been recognised as Ready Set Acro Studio of the Year. These awards are presented by Australian Industry Leader, Ready Set Dance, as an opportunity to nationally recognise the tremendous hard work, effort, determination and achievements of eligible dance studios also known as Ready Set Dance Official Locations.

The Ready Set Dance Program is a preschool curriculum that is taught in over 400+ Dance Studios across Australia, New Zealand and North America. Supported by Early Childhood Specialists, the Ready Set Dance programs have been meticulously developed so preschoolers can enjoy the magic of dance whilst simultaneously reaching developmental milestones.

At Cowra Dance Factory, Ready Set Acro has quickly become one of the most exciting and empowering parts of its preschool program. In just one year, they saw a 100% increase in student numbers—a clear sign that their little acrobats are flipping, hopping, and hand standing their way into something truly special.

Cowra Dance Factory has created a space where children feel safe to try, fall, giggle, and try again. That’s what Ready Set Acro is all about—celebrating effort, encouraging resilience, and having fun while building strong bodies and even stronger minds.

CDF’s owner, Larissa Pullen says “As a rural studio, it means everything to see growth like this. Our students face geographical and socioeconomic challenges, but programs like Ready Set Acro make quality dance and movement education accessible, joyful, and community driven. Cowra Dance Factory is proud to nurture every child’s inner strength—one bear walk at a time.”

Alicia Langfield, or Miss Liss as she is affectionally known to her students, was also in attendance to receive the award, “Receiving this award is a huge honour and reflection of the dedication, energy and heart our team puts into every preschool class. It recognises the magic that happens in our preschool programs every single class. We’re so very proud of what it means for our little stars and our studio.”
