Cowra Council News

Cowra Shire Council recently celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Australia–Indonesia Association and commemorated Indonesia’s Heroes Day. Distinguished guests visited Cowra for the occasion, enjoying a hosted dinner at Club Cowra, touring key sites around the town, and laying wreaths at the Indonesian graves in Cowra’s cemetery.

Council crews have now completed pavement repair works at the Mulyan and Redfern Street intersection. The team carried out the upgrades under traffic control to improve safety and road surface quality for motorists, and Council thanks the community for their patience while this important work was completed.
