Spring has finally sprung and to celebrate Cowra Tourism is hosting the Cowra Carnival of Colours!

The Cowra Carnival of Colours is a celebration of all things bright and cheerful. We have entered a new season and are excited to showcase the beautiful bursts of colour in our region thanks to the Canola Fields and Cherry Blossoms.

We have teamed up with a variety of local businesses to bring you experiences that will tantalize your taste buds, seduce your senses, and connect you to Country and the beauty of nature.

Join in on the celebrations of the Cowra Carnival of Colours running from the 23rd of September till the 8th of October. Events include a Sushi Train with Lachlan Valley Railway, BBQ & Farm Tour at Rosnay Organic with the Bush Goddess, Green Thumb Markets in the Cowra Civic Square, a Bonsai Master Class with Cath Duncan, Devonshire Tea on board the MBV at the Cowra Railway Station, Taste of Windowrie Wine with Jason O’Dea at the Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre, TWO Paint and Sip workshops with Strawberry Hills Events and Somethinngyoulove, Graffiti Competition with PCYC Cowra, Ochre Painting, Storytelling and Dance workshop with the Cowra Information and Neighbourhood Centre, Sureway Employment and Dinawan’s Connection, and a Forage and Feast with the Bush Goddess.

Cowra Carnival of Colours also incorporates Cowra Tourism’s hugely popular ‘Canola Tours’ with tours available over select weekends with local operator Ideal Tours and scenic flights with Fly Oz! Driven tours include:

  • A professionally guided tour departing from Cowra Visitor Information Centre
  • Visits to canola ‘hot spots’ for unique photo opportunities,
