Cowra Cash Card Relaunch

The Cowra Business Chamber is thrilled to announce the relaunch of the Cowra Cash Gift Card Program, a fantastic initiative designed to support our local economy and make shopping small even easier.

New cards are currently being ordered and will be compatible with multiple EFTPOS terminals across town, making it more convenient for both businesses and shoppers.

If you’re a local business and would like to be involved, now is the perfect time to jump on board!Whether it’s a gift for a loved one, or a thank-you for a colleague, the Cowra Cash Card is a meaningful way to give while giving back.

With Christmas fast approaching, this initiative offers a timely boost for local retailers and service providers. It’s more than just a gift card—it’s a way to celebrate Cowra, and strengthen our local economy.

Let’s keep it local. Let’s keep it Cowra.

Networking Forum & NBN Q&A

Thank you to everyone who joined us at CJ’s Club Cowra for an evening of connection and conversation, hosted by Data Voice in partnership with the Cowra Business Chamber and the Regional Tech Hub.

Matt Armstrong, NBN’s Regional Development & Engagement Manager for Central NSW, shared valuable updates on the NBN rollout, answered community questions, and offered service health checks for local businesses.

Local supplier Data Voice showcased practical tools to help improve communication and online operations — sparking great ideas and discussion.

We’re grateful for the support, the conversations, and the chance to connect with fellow locals over drinks, nibbles, and shared insights.

Here’s to growing together — thank you for being part of it.

Congratulations to Local Businesses on Hospital Redevelopment

The Cowra Business Chamber congratulates Jeff’s Joinery & Building Centre and all local businesses that have contributed to the $110.2 million Cowra Hospital redevelopment.

Jeff’s Joinery & Building Centre has played an outstanding role in the project, supplying cabinetry, timber, and materials for key areas including reception spaces, kitchens, and the hospital’s main staircase. Their craftsmanship and commitment showcase the strength and capability of our local trades.

Transport for NSW (TFNSW) Regional Transport Plan

Whether you walk, cycle, catch a bus, take the train, or drive — we’d love your input.

Cowra Business Chamber urges all businesses to review the Transport for NSW (TFNSW) Regional Transport Plan, which includes Cowra, and provide feedback.

You can submit comments via the online portal or by visiting Optimal Pharmacy in Railway Lane, opposite Woolworths, on December 8 between 12 pm and 3 pm.

It is important to note that the TFNSW plan does not include a second bridge crossing for Cowra and mentions planning for a heavy vehicle bypass within the next five years.

New Years Eve Beach Party

Each year, over 700 locals and visitors gather to ring in the New Year with Cowra’s signature blend of summer fun, fireworks, and community spirit — and 2025 will be no exception.

Organised by a passionate volunteer team, this free event offers family-friendly activities and a vibrant celebration.

However, with grant funding unavailable this year, local sponsorships are essential to help keep the magic alive.

Support the Celebration. Our Sponsorship Program offers tiered benefits, including naming rights, promotional opportunities, and heartfelt recognition across the community.

To get involved or request a sponsorship flyer, please contact the committee atcowranye@gmail.com Let’s make this New Year’s Eve unforgettable — together.
