On Monday six tables played a Mitchell Red Point event

NS – 1st – Marianna Xerri and Eugene Marais 63.33%
2nd – Peter Fagan and Margi Bargwanna 61.67%
3rd – Joan Roots and Linda Braithwaite 9.58%

EW – 1st – Vera Penhey and Sandie Armitage 61.67%
2nd – Joan Hurst and Jenni Fagan 58.75%
3rd – Bernadette Mossman and Jean Mary Fagan 57.50%

On Tuesday, Melbourne Cup Day a fun day was played with players dressing to suit the day . Prizes were given for the Best Hat which went to Jean Mary Fagan and second placegetter, Bev Oliver. Prizes were also given to the winners and last placegetters on the day

Prizes were given to last place getters who were thrilled to be winning something on the day.
