The Australian Wide Pairs were played on Monday with some interesting cards and very good results from the seven and a half tables.

NS – 1st – Peter Fagan and Elizabeth Kelly 59.59%
2nd – Di Payten and Marianna Xerri 58.59%
Equal 2nd - Moreton Harrison and Geoff Casey 58.59%
EW – 1st – Vanda Cassim and Sandie Armitage 62.50%
2nd – Cathy Wood and Pam Lynch 56.85%
3rd - Sally Delaney and Jean Mary Fagan 50.60%
4th – Marie Langfield and Margi Bargwanna 50.30%

On Sunday three teams travelled to Parkes to play in their Teams day with the team of Peter Fagan, Alayne Gouge, Geoff Casey and Margi Bargwanna finishing 5th against thirteen other teams. There will bwe no bridge on Monday 29th as the Club is closed for staff education.

The Cowra Congress will be played on September 10th and 11th and names can be entered now so please organise pairs for the Saturday and teams of four for Sunday as catering needs to be organised with the caterers.
