The Cowra Bridge Congress was played over the weekend with seventeen tables playing Swiss Pairs on Saturday and eighteen tables playing Swiss Teams on Sunday. David Red-del from Orange was the Director for the two days with visi-tors travelling from Wollongong, Wagga, Windsor, Parkes, Sydney, Bathurst, Dubbo, Canberra, Cootamundra and Ba-thurst to take part.
Saturday results were:
1st – John and Ken McMahon (Wagga)
2nd – Ellie and Jim Fitzgerald (Orange)
Under 300 Masterpoints - Kerry and Christine Bartlett (Spring-wood)
Under 100 points – Peter Fagan and Elizabeth Kelly (Cowra)
Under 50 points – Carole Vildzius and Angela Mullighan (Trumps)
Local Pair – Joan Hurst and John McLaren (Cowra)
Sunday Results were:
1st – John McMahon, Ken McMahon, Henry McMahon and Marie Gin (Wagga)
2nd – Michele Tredinnick, Robyn Pearce, Ellie and Jim Fitzgerald (Orange)
