In April 2024, Cowra Ballet School will debut on American stages in California. The 22 dancers and their families will travel with Hayley Barker, the proud owner of Cowra Ballet School, and attend seminars with the Los Angeles dance studio called Playground in,as well as perform at Disneyland and Universal Studios.
“I am proud to offer this opportunity for a third time since 2016. We have been slightly delayed due to covid, so we are all very excited to have it confirmed for 2024.” Haley of Cowra Ballet School stated
Raffles and barbeques are being held throughout Cowra as a part of the fundraising efforts. You will soon see advertisements for larger events such as a Trivia Night and a Dance-A-Thon where you can purchase tickets and donate to their fundraising.
“This is the largest group of dancers we have ever taken overseas, with only a handful of them having come on previous trips before. It’s an amazing opportunity for our rural dancers to represent their town and country on an international stage and we have Ros and her team at Dance Around the World to thank for putting together such a wonderful, personalised tour for us.”
