CJRL Looking For Coaches

Written by: The Cowra Phoenix

Rugby League

Although the season has ended Cowra Junior Rugby League are looking ahead and beginning the preparation for 2022 with a call out for coaches. The club is looking for coaches to volunteer their time to train and lead a junior team from under 6’s right through to under 16’s tackle and girls League Tag.

No prior experience is needed and all questions and expressions of interest are welcome. Coaching a junior sporting team is a brilliant way to get involved and give back to the Cowra community. It’s more than just standing on the sideline cheering them on, coaching means you are a leader, someone who can help them develop their skills and find the confidence to run out onto the field no matter how nervous they feel. What children learn from playing in a team sport they often take away as valuable life lessons. The small amount of your time each week that you give up to ensure Cowra’s youth can enjoy a game of footy, you get back in the new friendships, memories and experiences you will find within the club. All the training and education a coach needs is provided. CJRL is a family orientated club with a very supportive committee who are eager to welcome new coaches and volunteers. Please send your expressions of interest to the CJRL Facebook page.
