The success of Cowra businesses over the last 12 months are set to be celebrated in style this Saturday night at the 2021 Cowra Business Awards.

Over 300 people are expected to attend the annual gala event at the Cowra Showground Pavilion, which sees the Cowra Business Chamber recognise and celebrate the achievements of all businesses across the Cowra Shire over the past 12 months.

Cowra Business Chamber President Jordan Core said the event was shaping up to be the biggest indoor event Cowra had seen since the 2020 Awards last February, which were snuck in just before the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It has been a very challenging year for local businesses throughout the pandemic, particularly those in the hospitality and tourism industries that were shut down for a period of time,” he said.

“This event will be huge; it will bring the entire business community of Cowra together again after over a year, but also celebrate how Cowra businesses survived the pandemic, made it through to the other side, and in some cases, even grew and improved their businesses.”

Apart from Excellence in Small Business, Excellence in Micro Business, and the Cowra Business Chamber Honours Roll, which will be announced on the night, the finalists in each category are as follows:
