On November 4th the Cowra Showground will host the Battle in the Bush, a family friendly fight night organised by the crew from the Imperial Hotel and Braveheart Promotions. Kicking off at 5pm the night will host mostly Central West Fighters with a few travelling up from the ACT.
Professional, Amateurs, interstate title holders, males, females and first time fighters will all come together support the Cowra’s newly formed Charity, Champions 4 Kids.
The charity aims to support the communities underprivileged children who struggle with finding positive and supportive role models, having restricted access to sports and other community services or simply just needing a hand up.
After raising almost $17,000 last battle, the event organisers hope to crack the $20,000. With sponsorship pouring in from many local shops and businesses, the event will not be one to be missed.
Ticket sales are going strong with the event almost selling out.
Tickets are available at Kous and Imperial Hotel.
“Champions 4 Kids is a locally owned charity founded by a committee of all local community members to ensure all the funds remain local. The charities main objectives is to support those kids from families that don’t always have the support at home.”
The event organisers are urging people to book their table/ tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
