Jamie-Lee Thain - Aged Care Coordinator

Jamie-Lee is our dedicated Aged Care Coordinator at Ability Network covering Cowra, Canowindra, Grenfell, Gooloogong, Mandurama and Woodstock. Jamie-Lee has an enormous amount of experience with over 15 years in the Aged Care sector, while working in New South Wales and Queensland.

Jamie-Lee has a passion for assisting the seniors in our community to remain safe and independent at home. Our dedicated Aged Care team provide our clients with social and shopping services, domestic assistance and transport to and from medical appointments. Our team have a strong focus on supporting our clients to remain happy and healthy in their own homes while still active in the community. We also run a weekly knitting/games group operated by our kind volunteers that help ensure our clients are involved in the community while doing activities together. We have some exiting events coming up for our clients. Kristie Reid - Co-Ordinator of Disability Services (Individuals, Groups & Events)

Kristie has been employed by Ability Network for almost 8 years, starting as a Support Worker and through her hard work and dedication, has been appointed the Co-Ordinator for Disability Services. Within our service, Ability Network offer programs to teach life skills like cooking. We have many programs that allow our participants to explore their creative side, such as art and craft, upcycle, resin, woodwork, and metal work.

Our Social nights and dinner outings are a popular social event on our fortnightly calendar, that assist in building and maintaining meaningful friendships and relationships. Our trained staff also assist our participants in attending community events, recreational activities, assist with personal shopping, attending appointments, accessing other programs and can accompany on overnight stays or short trips. We are here to support our participants and their families. Jenny Ashton – Coordinator STA & Individual Support

Jenny has been working in the disability sector for 12 years and due to her hard work and experience during this time, Jenny secured the position as the STA (Short Term Accommodation) & Individual Support Co-ordinator for Ability Network. Our team offer support by providing professional care while receiving overnight accommodation. This service is offered to support our participants whilst their carer is away or takes a break from the demands of caregiving. During our participants short term stay, support is also provided with participation in recreational activities, support with meal preparation and domestic support.
