As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time once again to look back at what we have achieved together and look forward to what we can all accomplish in the New Year.
I don’t know about you, but this year has just flown by! It’s been a busy one no doubt, and like you, I am looking forward to spending time with family and friends over the Christmas period, before the New Year gets underway, and life gets busy once again!
While many of us have catch-ups planned, I know there are others who find this time of year somewhat lonely. So if you know of anyone who might be spending Christmas alone, why not reach out to them, and perhaps offer them a seat at your table. Even a simple knock on the door and a quick catch-up can make all the difference.
I’d like to make special mention of the many people who will be on-call and working over the holiday period; to our local Police, NSW Ambulance, Emergency Services, and health teams who continue to support us year ‘round I say a big thank you!
I’d like to take this opportunity to personally thank everyone for their ongoing support; I’ve once again clocked-up thousands of kilometres travelling around our seat of small communities, and catching-up with as many of you as I possibly can. Your warm welcome, and smiling faces are a constant source of inspiration.
I, along with my husband Keith, and our trio of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Lolly, Tilley, and Peggie, wish all of you across our Cootamundra electorate, a very merry and joyful Christmas, and a happy, safe, and prosperous New Year.
